I am a restaurant and would like to order a high quantity of truffles. How can I put an order? For orders over 1kg please contact us by clicking here. We will be more than happy to help you out.
-
How are your truffles conserved? We keep them in our cold chamber until the last hour of shipment of the transport agencies. We pack them in isothermal containers right before delivery.
-
Are your truffles cleaned prior to delivery? Our truffles are always delivered cleaned. Still, due to their irregular shape and underground nature, sometimes there are small portions of soil in some nooks and crannies. We always recommend that they are cleaned again before consumption, as you would do when buying apples or pears in your usual grocery store.
-
Where do you deliver to?We deliver within Europe. The delivery fees are calculated at the checkout. All of our packages are delivered by courier.
-
How long does the order take to be delivered? All products are prepared and dispatched within 48 hours if the order is placed until Friday at 9 a.m. In some cases it may take longer due to the complexity of harvesting.
-
How should I store my truffles?Fresh truffles should always be kept in the refrigerator, for example in a container for proper preservation. To avoid humidity we recommend drying them with kitchen paper. Open the container once a day to allow new oxygen to enter. The truffle is a living being and continues to "breathe" after being harvested. Tip: Store them in a container with rice; you will avoid humidity and the rice will be slightly flavored.
-
How long can truffles be consumed for?Fresh truffles are a perishable product, so it is recommended to consume them as soon as possible in order to avoid losing valuable properties. Truffles, if well cared for, can last up to a week. Remember! Always keep them in the refrigerator and avoid humidity by drying them with kitchen paper.
-
Can I freeze truffles?Yes, it is also an excellent method of conservation. Remember to always use isothermal bags so that the smell does not propagate throughout the freezer. And most importantly, do not defrost them. Take them out of the freezer and grate them directly. You can then store the leftovers (if any...) back in the freezer.
-
Can I conserve truffles? There are many options to conserve truffles: in brandy, in oil, canned, frozen, ...
-
